The West Carroll Parish Schools Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) is an opportunity for parents, district staff, and community stakeholders to provide advice and feedback regarding special education policies, procedures, and resources.
Participants are chosen for two-year terms. The application to participate may be completed online at
this link.
The council will consist of eight (8) members, and at least four (4) of them will be parents of students with disabilities but not employees of the district. Other council members will include one (1) high school student with disabilities, one (1) school administrator who serves students with disabilities, (1) special education staff member, and one (1) service provider who serves students with disabilities but is not an employee of the West Carroll Parish School Board.
